Cutting-edge digital technologies are embodied in Epta's new connectivity solutions available in cabinets, cold rooms and refrigeration systems: these enable advanced diagnostic platforms such as LineON (for plug-in) and SwitchON (for remote cabinets). The new digital environments allow users to remotely access a detailed view of the operating parameters of Epta solutions 24 hours a day. An additional benefit of Epta digital services is the possibility to incorporate store performance management and monitoring in order to reduce energy consumption.

SwitchON: advanced diagnostics for remote and central cabinets

SwitchON is an advanced diagnostic platform that provides remote access to cabinets and remote control units. Its evolved functions, combined with predictive maintenance algorithms, ensure reliability and safety. SwitchON provides retailers with technical information on temperature, humidity and defrosting of refrigerated cabinets to ensure proper product preservation. Another advantage is provided by the platform's monitoring system, which records any anomalies in real time. Specific alarms then warn which part requires attention. SwitchON not only signals the fault quickly, but also assists technicians during troubleshooting processes by providing intuitive, structured and effective guidance that facilitates the resolution of any fault quickly.

LineON, for plug-ins that are always online

LineON is the digital plug-in solution with simple and intuitive remote control functions. It allows a wide variety of plug-in cabinet parameters to be analyzed 24 hours a day, including the temperature, humidity levels and energy consumption rates. This ensures the quality of the products on display, which means lower maintenance requirements and greater efficiency. LineON allows you to geolocate the cabinets and sends an alert if they are moved or stolen. You can also create reports of reviews performed on plug-in cabinets or extract information on sales trends and consumer preferences. In addition, the collected data can be leveraged using the corresponding web platform or via the app for iOS and Android devices. LineON is available in three different modes:

• Complete OEM solution: technology already integrated (installed during manufacturing) and with direct access to services
• Ready To Connect: units prepared during manufacturing for the use of IdC services, which simplifies subsequent activation
• Smart Plug Solution: a specific accessory box is installed to retrofit plug-in cabinets
