Epta Latam's history: Two Decades of Growth, Strategic Expansions, and Leadership in Sustainable Commercial Refrigeration Across Latin America

Since the beginning in 1997, Epta Latam's journey has been a story of constant growth, strategic expansions and commitment to excellence, consolidating Epta as a reference in the Latin American market for sustainable commercial refrigeration and industry solutions with direct presence in more than 15 countries across the continent.

Epta Latam's history began in 1997, when Epta acquired the company Costan Market with its factory based in Rosario, Argentina. Luigi Nocivelli, founder of Epta, personally involved in the negotiations, led this crucial step. At the time, Costan Market represented a main flagship in Argentina and gradually began to expand and consolidate its presence in the area.

From then on, the Latin American market began to experience remarkable growth. 

In 2013, the acquisition of Porta Nuova in Chile materialized, giving rise to Epta Chile in the city of Santiago. In the same year, Epta Peru was established, with its headquarters located in Lima.

Then, in 2019, Epta took a significant step by acquiring Kysor Warren in the United States and Mexico, marking the beginning of Epta US & Mexico. This strategic expansion further strengthened our presence in the region.

The year 2021 marked another milestone in our history with the acquisition of VPP, a leading Chilean company specializing in services. This incorporation positioned us as a leader in the region throughout Latin America, consolidating our influence and presence in the market.
