Choosing our Group means selecting refrigeration systems designed and built to customer specifications. In fact, Epta uses specialised equipment to meet customers' needs by designing the perfect solution for each refrigeration system.

The first step is an analysis of specific needs and environmental conditions, followed by the design, development and installation of systems that fully respond to the desire to reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint, and ensure the best levels of performance.

Epta is known for its ability to produce and install CO2 systems all over the world, with a growing experience over the years thanks to already more than 100 installations throughout Latin America: a truly significant experience, considering the current need to comply with increasingly stringent restrictions on the use of synthetic refrigerants as opposed to natural systems such as carbon dioxide.

ETE System (Extreme Transcritical Efficiency)

ETE (Extreme Temperature Efficiency) is a new Epta technology that can also be combined with FTE to guarantee the operation of the transcritical CO2 system at any latitude and at any temperature, even above 40°C, also in non-booster installations and in industrial refrigeration applications. The technology works without the support of flammable synthetic refrigerants or the use of water: the system uses the same CO2 as the transcritical system as the working fluid. The "secret" of ETE lies in the reduction of coolant temperatures before distribution to the final systems. The gas, leaving the heat exchanger at a value close to ambient temperature, is further cooled. The system allows the almost total elimination of the "Flash gas" (refrigerant to recompress), which generates significant energy savings and guarantees the reliability of the correct operation of the system, even above 40°C. Another strong point of FTE and ETE is the choice of standard components, readily available and familiar to users, to ensure not only simple installation, but also greater efficiency in the start-up and maintenance phases.

FTE system (Full Transcritical Efficiency)

Within this environmentally friendly scenario, Epta developed a revolutionary transcritical system: the CO2 FTE (Full Transcritical Efficiency) System, which combines simplicity and performance, with installation and maintenance costs that are up to 20% lower compared to traditional CO2 systems.Simple, Global, Industrialised and Reliable: These are the features of the new system that guarantee maximum efficiency for retailers all over the world thanks to its outstanding performance in any climate. In version 2.0, the FTE Full Transcritical Efficiency can be fully integrated into the rack, requiring no additional space in the machine room and further reducing installation and commissioning times.
